Job Description

The Home Delivery Coordinator is the liaison between customers, retail locations, and home delivery providers with the purpose of offering home delivery services, tracking orders, and resolving any issues arising due to freight damage, or defective merchandise. 

  • Work as the liaison amongst customers, ZG retail locations, and home delivery providers;
  • Initiate damage, loss, or defective claims and follow up until resolved;
  • Contact customers to offer home delivery services;
  • Track inventory at home delivery provider to ensure customers are notified and orders are picked up/delivered in a timely manner
  • Order replacement and/or parts for service issues and follow up until received;
  • Maintain accurate records of invoices and payments;

Our ideal candidate:

  • High school diploma required, 2-year degree preferred
  • Past experience in the furniture or home improvement industry, a plus
  • Past experience in supply chain management a plus
  • Solid typing skills;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Excellent follow-up capabilities;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills;
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills;
